Hackers Gain Access to iCloud – Leak Nude Photos of Celebs

On Sunday, social media was set ablaze with nude photos of some of the most famous celebrities posted anonymously.   The Hacker known as the original guy has claimed responsibility to have releasing telling photo’s of celebrities such as Jennifer Lawrence and many others.   The Hacker published the photos on 4Chan, the image sharing forum. He allegedly gained access to at least 100 A-listers phones by hacking into ICloud document storage system and leaked word of his actions online. According to the Daily Mirror, within hours Twitter was awash with hundreds of thousands of tweets about the photographs which are also alleged to include Brits Michelle Keegan, Cara Delevingne, Cat Deeley and Kelly Brook.   The Hacker released over 60 selfies of Lawrence in various stages of undress reported the Daily Mail on social media. The Hacker wrote that he is accepting donations through paypal for anyone who wants to see a video of Jennifer Lawrence performing a sex act. The hacker went on to write:   ‘Is way too short, a little over 2 minutes and you only get to see her boobs ‘Anyways, if somebody wants it let me know how i can upload it anonymously (I don’t want the FBI over me, and you don’t wanna know how I got this video.)’   As expected Jennifer Lawrence was a trend on Twitter Sunday Afternoon. Jennifer Lawrence spokesman confirmed the photos are authentic and that the authorities have been contacted. “This is a flagrant violation of privacy, anyone who release the stolen photos we will prosecute” the spokesman said.   Among the others targeted include:

  • Mary Winstead
  • Avril Lavigne
  • Amber Heard
  • Gabrielle Union
  • Hayden Panettiere
  • Hope Solo
  • Hilary Duff
  • Jenny Mcarthy
  • Kate Bosworth

Mary Winstead who starred in the Final Destination movies, confirmed on Twitter that she was a victim, Tweeting:     Nickelodeon actress Victoria Justice flatly denied the photos are her charging on Twitter that they are fakes,Tweeting:     A spokesperson for actress and pop star Ariana Grande told BuzzFeed that images said to be of her, are “completely fake.” Apple has yet to confirm whether the service was involved in the hacking but is investigating the incident with the F.B.I. The suspected hacker posted a thread online saying the hacking the servers to gain access of the photos was the result of hard work and boasted he “didn’t do it alone”. The suspected hacker said he “will be moving to another location and continue posting” the statement acknowledges the heat that law enforcement will generate in order to garner tips that could lead to his arrest.
