Police seized more than $300,000 worth of cocaine and arrested a 42-year-old man Tuesday morning after an anonymous caller reported a suspicious vehicle outside a store.

Miguel Gamboa was arrested after police searched his 1996 Ford F-150 pickup truck and found 15 bundles of compressed cocaine hidden in the truck’s door panels, a news release said.

Police received an anonymous call around 8 a.m. advising them that the truck, parked outside El Tigre food store at 501 N. Cesar Chavez Rd., had a large amount of narcotics, the release said.

Gamboa has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony.
