A Department of Homeland Security investigation in Randolph, Massachusetts  led to the seizure of one TON of pot.

According to WCVB, In Mass. Michael Gordon, 45 and Andrean Jaggon, 37 of 4 Garden St., Randolph, are charged with trans-continental marijuana conspiracy.

A California man was also indicted by federal authorities in the case.

Neighbor Paul Dionne said he looked outside when he heard a loud voice that stated, “Homeland Security, Homeland Security, please open the door, open up please, three times. Next thing you know they got the battering ram out and busted through the door. He didn’t open the door.”

The federal indictment charges the California man shipped thousands of pounds of marijuana to the Randolph address using the U.S. postal service and FedEx.

In addition to the marijuana charge, Gordon is also accused of structuring. He’s charged with moving cash in increments under $10,000 to try and conceal his actions from authorities.

One neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said “You don’t expect something like this to happen in your neighborhood. Once in a while you see cars stopping but I didn’t pay much attention to it.”

Gary McLaughlin, another neighbor, said, “It’s a very quiet neighborhood, this part of Randolph is known as Blue Hill Park. There were a lot of federal agents, state police and Randolph officers. There were several boxes of what we presume would be evidence. They were there for quite some time.”

Most neighbors said the couple stayed to themselves, but Dionne said the man was friendly.

“The other day my daughters were out here raking the leaves and he came over and said, ‘After you’re done in your yard can you come over and do mine>” he said. “My youngest daughter played with their daughter. You never know who’s in your neighborhood.”
