A therapist has been charged in an indictment by a Virginia grand jury on allegations he had sexual relations with a teenage boy whom he was treating.

Gary Hankins, a licensed clinical social worker, faces six counts of “taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in custodial or supervisory relationship.”

The boy told investigators he had sexual relations with his therapist in the analyst’s office in Alexandria.

The man also showed the boy nude photos of himself that were on his computer, the teen said, WRC-TV reported, citing court documents.

Hankins is being held at an Alexandria jail.

Each count is punishable by a maximum prison sentence of five years.
