A Texas mail man allegedly used his job as a cover to deal meth.

Edward Flores II had been trafficking drugs through the mail for years — without the knowledge of his postmaster wife, according to McLennan County Sheriff’s Office.

A 10-month investigation conducted led detectives to discover the 39-year-old mailman with $17,000 worth of meth at his Lorena home, according to a Waco Tribune report published last week.

The raid began after a tip that a uniformed postal work had been delivering meth from his mail truck.

The U.S. Postal Service had employed Flores for the past 21 years before McLennan County investigators arrested him Nov. 13.

His wife, Allena Flores, is the postmaster for the Lorena office, but she was most likely unaware of his allegedly illegal activity, the Tribune reported.

He was arrested on drug charges and posted a $10,000 bond last week.
