Manny Pacquiao has had enough and doesn’t care if he shows people how he feels about a Floyd Mayweather fight.

Now he is putting Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. on the spot and this time he’s not about to let him get out without a fight.

After Manny easily beat Chris Allegri in China, he said, “I think it’s time to say something, the fans deserve that fight. It’s time to make that fight happen.”

However, many boxing analysts still are up in the air as to whether the fight will happen or not. Now, it’s depending on Mayweather agreeing to sign the fight.

For the last five years, Mayweather has given nothing but excuses when it came to fighting Pacquiao.

First he thought Pacquiao was on steroids, then refused to do business with Top Rank’s Bob Arum.

After Pacquiao was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez, Mayweather said it wasn’t worth his time to even mention his name.

However, now Mayweather is on the spot, there are no more excuses. The public is demanding the fight take place in the first six months of 2015 , if not, mayweather’s legacy will forever be tarnished.

Now, the biggest fight since the “Thrilla in Manilla”, the richest fight in history, could indeed happen.

“Answer the telephone, it’s as simple as that,” promoter Bob Arum said when asked what it would take to make the fight. “If boxing is to be considered a major sport then the fight has to happen. The nonsense needs to cease. There are no excuses anymore.”

Mayweather hinted slightly that he might be open to the mega fight after beating Maidana.

“If the Pacquiao fight happens, it happens,” Mayweather said. “You can ask the same questions and get the same answers. I call my own shots.”

However, there are roadblocks that remain in the way of the fight happening. First off, Mayweather’s  does not want to risk his unblemished record toward the end of his career. Then you have issues with promoters, the whole Showtime or HBO, money and the legacies of both fighters.

But Arum has been talks with owner of Showtime, CBS Corp head  Les Moonves, whom Mayweather has two fights remaining on his contract with the network, which is a positive sign.

Not to mention the fact that there are no other fighters left that would attract the same type of prize fight money.

Manny  Vs Floyd will generate so much hype and generate so much revenue it’s mind boggling as to why Floyd wouldn’t want to make the fight happen.

“I get asked about it wherever I go, If I’m on a plane the person next to me will ask me. I go to the restroom, and the attendant asks me” Arum said of the megafight.

Both fighters are on the tail end of their careers, but both still proved they are the best. Allegri found this out on Sunday.

“The man is exactly what he was billed as,” Algieri said after Pacquiao cut short his Rocky story in front of Sylvester Stallone himself. “He’s a great champion and one of the great fighters of his era.”

After the victory, Pacquiao reenacted his Foot Locker commercial, where he jumps up and down and excitedly cries out “He’s going to fight me? Yes! Yes!”

Maybe he shouldn’t get to worked up yet, but things look to be headed in the right direction…hopefully.
