The plot detailed for them to kill two men in Vermont before attending a Justin Bieber concert in New York City, where they would murder the singer and his bodyguard by suffocating them. Then he requested they cut off Bieber’s testicles, according to police.

Martin offered to pay $2,500 per testicle and asked the men to use Martin’s signature of paisley ties to kill Bieber, according to court documents.

He is serving a life sentence for the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Vermont.

Martin has a Bieber tattoo on his leg and was enraged after Bieber respond to a number of letters he had written to the singer and he felt he would have gained national fame.

Both Staake and his nephew, Ruane were arrested in different locations in 2012 and were charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.

Even though Staake’s trial is scheduled to begin next week, Martin is not face charges.

“I think it’s appropriate to say that factors associated with this case have been looked at, and we’re investigating it,” Las Cruces prosecuting attorney Gerald Byers told KOAT 7.

The District Attorney’s Office have not ruled out Martin being charged.
