Even though his best friend murdered his own wife and took his own life, Floyd Mayweather wants to see his friend given the proper burial.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has admitted that he foot the bill for the funeral costs of his friend, rapper Earl Hayes despite the fact the rapper killed his wife before he committed suicide.

The rapper apparently flew into a rage when he found out his wife, the late Stephanie Moseley was cheating on him, and shot and killed her with a shotgun while she was in the bathtub, before taking his own life.

On Wednesday, Floyd was interviewed by detectives for two hours.
Mayweather told detectives that he desperately tried to convince his good friend, Hayes, not commit suicide.

Law enforcement sources said that Floyd was on FaceTime with Earl at the time of the murder.

Floyd told authorities that after Earl allegedly fired rounds into his wife, he came back on the phone and told Floyd that he was going to kill himself.

Floyd begged him not to, Earl ended up taking his own life.
Floyd told detectives that even though he and Earl were discussing Stephanie’s infidelity, he firmly denied riling him up.

Floyd told detectives Earl called him because the two were best friends, and that the rapper was trying to say goodbye. Tragic story.
