Police dashcam video footage surfaced, showing the harrowing moments a suicide jumper was saved by police as he attempted to leap to his death.

The footage shows D. Mulvihill arriving to see an unidentified man seeming on the ledge of the Martin Luther King Boulevard bridge as he glared down at the bustling traffic below.

Mulvhill carefully closes in behind the man before suddenly grabbing him around the waist and pulling him to safety.

Another officer sergeant McCoy, managed to grab the man’s attention as he walked towards him from the other direction.

Both policemen managed to subdue the man to preventing him from fleeing the scene.
They reassure him that he’s ‘OK’ and everything’s going to be ‘alright’.

‘You alright, buddy? I’m sorry. I’m just trying to help you. You’re alright,’ one of the officers can be heard saying.

They then lift him back to two feet with a ‘one, two, three’ and escort him off the bridge.
