Four Brown Deer middle school students are facing sex assault charges after recording themselves at a so-called sex party.

Police were called to Brown Deer Middle School earlier this month when a student reported to school staff that the student had been at what was described as a sex party at a friend’s house over the holiday break.

Police questioned several middle schoolers, and ultimately arrested four students in their early teens.

The Brown Deer school superintendent told WISN 12 News it’s not a school matter because the alleged assaults took place off school grounds.

Brown Deer Police Chief Michael Kass said it doesn’t appear that any videos of the assaults were posted on social media.

Police are recommending the teens be charged with first- and second-degree sexual assault of a child.

“We’re trying to send a clear message that this type of behavior isn’t going to be condoned by law enforcement, nor school officials, nor shouldn’t be by parents, really, when we’re talking kids that are middle-school age,” Kass said.

The police chief told WISN 12 News that police completed their investigation and don’t believe any adults were involved. He said they haven’t heard yet whether the students will be charged.

Jennifer Stagg, who counsels teenagers, said they’re so impulsive and don’t think about how their decisions could affect their futures.

“They have no foresight into what’s going to happen tomorrow with this picture, what’s going to happen a year from now with this picture,” Stagg said.
