Police arrested Thirty-one people in Lexington, Kentucky after the Wildcats’ undefeated streak came to a shocking end to the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA tournament Saturday. The large sect of Fans set fires and chanted derogatory Wisconsin slogans, on State Street, across from the University of Kentucky’s Lexington Campus.

Unruly Wildcat fan loses shirt after loss, as he’s led away by police

The Lexington Police Department said the unruly crowd of sore losers set fire to multiple objects. However, only minor injuries were reported. The crowd reacted after the Wisconsin Badgers shocked the previously unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats in a thriller, 71-64 on Saturday night.

The scene was the complete opposite in Wisconsin, where a Massive crowd of elated Badger fans celebrated on the streets of Madison, cheering and waving flags. The Madison Police Department reported no problems during the celebration and even posted a photo of the huge public gathering and joked in a Tweet: “Unofficial crowd estimate: more than 12.”
