The prosecution’s star witness in the murder trial of Marion Suge Knight 49, said on Monday during a preliminary hearing; that he won’t “snitch” on the former rap impresario.

Cle “Bone” Sloan repeatedly said on the stand, he couldn’t remember the January 29th events leading up to Knight hitting him and fatally running over Terry Carter with his truck. The incident took place in the parking lot of Tam’s Burger’s in Compton, California.

The testimony is part of the preliminary hearing, where the judge will decide if there’s enough evidence against Knight to proceed to trial. Sloan  appeared wearing a grey suit, as he limped into court, said on the stand, “I have been trying to forget the whole incident,“ I just know I screwed up, and Terry’s dead.”

He admitted to police investigators that he first got physical with Knight, punching him through the window of Knight’s red Ford truck prior to Knight slamming the gas. The prosecutor asked Sloan if he intentionally withheld information because he didn’t want anyone to label him as a snitch.

“I’m not a snitch,” he quipped. Sloan then charactarized himself as an inactive member of a gang and the “premier negotiator” for gang-related street beefs in Los Angeles.

“I will not be forced to tell on anybody and don’t want it to get misconstrued that I am responsible for sending this man to prison. I will not be the reason Suge Knight is sent to prison.”

Sloan then requested a break to collect himself. Knight has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Carter.
