A female cartel assassin named “La Flaca” or The Skinny One” was found allegedly murdered by rival cartel members just across the Mexican border.

The body of hitwoman, Joselyn Alejandra Niño was found dismembered and stuffed in a cooler last Sunday. Back in January, a photo of Nino with her innocent smile on her pretty face holding an M4 assault rifle went viral on social media.

She is not the first female assassin with the name La Flaca; there were two before her who suffered a demise of difference sorts.. Although the fate of both of her predecessors ended badly, the third “skinny girl’s” fate ended the worst.

The first “La Flaca” was named Veronica Mireya Moreno Carreon of San Nicolas de Los Garza. She was a decorated police officer wounded in a shoot-out with kidnappers attempting to abduct a car salesman in 2009. She allegedly began working with the Los Zetas.

In 2011, Mexican Marines arrested her in a stolen car, with a firearm, and six cell phones in her possession. Authorities eventually charged her with numerous murders and drug trafficking.

The very same year, Mexican law enforcement announced the arrest of another cartel killer known as La Flaca. Nancy Manriquez Quintanar of Ecatepec allegedly had a hand in least a dozen murders. She frequented nightspots hunting for members of competing cartels to kill.

The first two “Las Flacas” were in jail when the third young woman in Rio Bravo began operating using the name. She looks to be either in her late teens or early 20’s, with a slim build and innocent smile, she sported a bullet proof vest beneath a gold necklace.

A picture first surfaced of her body laying next to another woman, and a man before another image was posted online showing her body dismembered and stuffed in a cooler.

A tattoo on her foreman, which says ‘Nino,’ can be seen in the cooler.
The disturbing image comes with a warning, which read, keep sending theses f****** a*** holes’, insisting they will meet the same fate.

The first two Las Flacas suffered their ill-fated demise at the hands of law enforcement, the third suffered the curse of the “Skinny One” at the hands of her rivals.

In the past eight years alone, a staggering 100,000 people died in the cartel-related violence. Violence continued Saturday after Mexican Marines captured the head of the Gulf Cartel, responsible for much of the violence in the Tamaulipas State.

And in the past month, twenty officers have been killed in ambushes in the Jalisco State carried out by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
