Police confirm that gunfire hit two tour buses belonging to Rapper Lil Wayne came early Sunday morning in Atlanta, Georgia, in an apparent drive-by. Multiple witnesses told investigators that reported men in two passing vehicles opened fire outside the Compound nightclub. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Elizabeth Espy said Police officers rushed to the Mandarin Oriental hotel on Peachtree Road at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday ‘after calls came in regarding someone shooting at a bus that Lil Wayne was on.’

Espy said witnesses could only give a limited description of the gunmen in the vehicles.” ‘The vehicles were described as a white Corvette-style vehicle and the other an SUV.’

The shootings followed the rapper’s performance Saturday night at the Compound. Gunfire erupted just minutes after the buses departed the nightclub, as they traveled on Interstate 285. Weezy, Young Money execs and other artists, including Lil Twist and Super Hood, were all on board the buses when they came under attack.

Police officials have made no arrests and had no suspects in the shooting.
