A jury in Brooklyn Federal Court found the psychopathic ex-boyfriend of Lil Kim, drug kingpin Damion “World” Hardy, guilty for the murders of six people.

Hardy, was the leader of a treacherous drug crew that menaced the Lafayette Gardens Projects in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in the late 1990s.

In addition to the murders, Hardy was convicted of attempted murder, kidnapping, and drug dealing. Hardy will now face a mandatory life sentence.

Hardy sat with no emotion as the verdict was handed down. The judge ordered Hardy heavily medicated over the course of the trial after numerous court outbursts.

Hardy’s attornies have long argued for over a decade that the diagnosed schizophrenic was unfit to stand trial. However, Judge Frederic Block finally ruled Hardy fit enough to stand trial after years of treatment.

Along with Hardy, his co-defendant, notorious hitman Aaron Granton, was also found guilty of numerous charges and will face a mandatory life sentence.

Prosecutor Soumya Dayananda told jurors during the trial that Hardy lead a massive narcotics operation and routinely ordered the murders of rivals or anyone he deemed to be an enemy.

The same members of his crew who once jumped at his command sealed his fate during the trial. Several former members of Cash-Money Brothers testified against Hardy and telling the jury about the crew’s acts of past violence on the orders of Hardy. Including a feud with former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, where both men took out contracts on each other’s lives over the death of a longtime Tyson associate.
