ISIS has marked the anti-Islamic blogger Pamela Geller for death in a sinister online message on Tuesday. The terror group claimed they have planted fighters across America ready to attack “any target we desire.”

The threat, delivered on the online messaging board JustPasteIt, posted by an anonymous user. The post specifically singles out Geller, who organized the cartoon contest depicting the Prophet Muhammad, which was attacked by two gunmen in Garland, Texas, last Sunday.

The Islamic State has since claimed responsibility for the shooting early Tuesday, making it the first attack on American soil conducted by ISIS.

“This is the textbook case of what we’re most concerned about,” Rep. Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told the Associated Press.

Law enforcement agencies including the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security were aware that the art contest could be a possible target for a terror attack after issuing a joint alert bulletin back on the 20th of April.

The principles who organized the event, including Geller were aware hosting such an event would make them a target, but they refused to cancel the event. Geller is viewed as a polarizing figure, and many critics accuse her of being anti-Islamic.

The threatening message claimed that the Islamic State had “71 trained operatives in 15 different states ready at our word to attack.” The message included the states of Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan and California in the message.

The message read: “The attack by the Islamic State in America is only the beginning of our efforts to establish a wiliyah (authority or governance) in the heart of our enemy.”

“Our aim was the khanzeer (pig) Pamela Geller and to show her that we don’t care what land she hides in or what sky shields her; we will send all our Lions to achieve her slaughter.”

The post goes on to target Geller and anyone who either assists her in hiding or hosting her, to death.

The controversial Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders, who is also marked for death by Islamic radicals, appeared as a guest speaker at the contest with his security detail. Wilder gave a brief speech to the 200 people attending the event.

Wilders has openly criticized Islam and has had a bounty placed on his head by Al Qaeda. He is scheduled to headline a lobster fest event for the Republican Party’s in Palm Beach Florida in August.

Geller’s has not made her public appearance schedule known for good reason.

In a statement released on her website Geller which read: “The threat illustrates the savagery and barbarism of the Islamic State, They want me dead for violating Sharia blasphemy laws. What remains to be seen is whether the free world will finally wake up and stand for the freedom of speech or instead kowtow to this evil and continue to denounce me.”

When asked by reporters if the threat would cause her to cancel appearances or increase security she responded, “of course” but refused to give further details because of security reason.

Donald Trump blasted Geller for hosting the event, claiming she was taunting the radicals, “I’m one that believes in free speech, probably more than she does.”

“What’s the purpose of this? She’s taunting them; It’s very risky for her; maybe she likes risk. But what the hell is she doing, and what is the purpose of it?”

The FBI has not confirmed the validity of the threat.
