South Carolina College Student Arrested After Getting Caught on Video Pouring Windex in Roommates Food

A college student is facing felony charges after her roommates caught their roommate poisoning their food. Haley King, the 22-year-old University of South Carolina student faces jail time being caught on camera spitting and pouring Windex into her the food of her two college roommates.

According to ABC News, after a series of arguments of altercations, which police elaborate on, the two roommates secretly set up cameras as a safety measure because of their mistrust of King. The two roommates previously attempted to force King to move out because of their differences, but she refused.

The video showed King spitting and pouring Windex in several containers from the refrigerator shared by all the parties. Police questioned King about the incident and she allegedly confessed to her actions.

The Columbia Police Department charged King with a Class C felony for the unlawful, malicious tampering with human drug product or food, which carries a term of up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.

King remains free on a $5000 personal recognizance bond.
