California Police announced the arrest of a man who followed a 13-year-old girl home from school and attempted to sexually the girl inside her home.

Mohammad Khaliqi, 31, was charged Friday morning with the shocking attack in San Jose attack, which occurred on Tuesday. Detectives say Khaliqi is responsible for a similar attack that occurred last month in a grocery store’s restroom. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, told cops the same man ambushed her, then he managed to flee.

Police captured the sexual deviant after the home security video showed the suspect forcing his way inside the house and attacking the girl. Khaliq, 30, has been charged with multiple counts of burglary, attempted sexual assault and false imprisonment.

“I had to fight this guy, Help me was the only thing that was going through my mind,” the brave eighth-grade student told the NBC affiliate. The girl managed to free herself from the slim attacker, who briefly looks around foyer before leaving out the front door of the home.

The girl then rushed locked the door before “running to the best hiding spot I could find” and contacting her father, she told the station.

She then sent her father a text no parent would ever want to receive: “Daddy come home now. Some guy tried to rape me.”

“I just hope we can catch him,” the horrified girl said.
