Florida Woman Has Busy Afternoon Robbing 3 Banks in 30 Minutes

A Florida woman decided to go on a whirlwind bank robbing spree, setting a record for robbing three banks within 30 minutes.

Police arrested Cindy Carabeo on Monday after she completed a hat trick of bank robberies in Brandon area on Monday, the Tampa Bay Tribune reported.

Investigators say the 50-year-old brazen bank robber first hit up the BB&T bank at 3:19 p.m. When she reportedly handed the teller a written note claiming she was armed and demanded cash.

Carabeo made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Around 3:35 p.m., she walks in the Wells Fargo branch and stuck with her playbook and pulled off her second heist, walking out with cash in hand.

Carabeo then completed the trifecta 8 minutes later, around 3:43pm after she pulled off the same stunt at a Central Credit Union.

However, she was identified after Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies tracked her license plate number to A Suzuki owned by Carabeo, WTSP reported.

Police officers arrested her outside her apartment complex and as her Suzuki pulled in the parking lot. Carabeo is charged with three counts of armed robbery.
