An elderly couple and a young livery cab driver came to blows when tempers flared in Brooklyn Bridge traffic on Tuesday, video of the incident shows.

The geriatric duo stopped their minivan and a woman with a three-pronged cane got out moments before the 11:30 a.m. fisticuffs, witnesses said.

The cab driver had previously thrown what looked like a Pringles can at the the couple’s car after a dispute over lane merging, witnesses said.

As the woman brandished the cane the young driver grabbed it, then tackled her to the ground.

“She looked like she was trying to attack the car. He disabled her, then slammed her and tackled her,” witness Marc Freund said.

Another motorist punched the livery cab driver moments before an older man, who was with the woman, joined in the melee, landing about 20 haymakers on the cowering driver, according to witnesses.

Traffic was blocked, and drivers dumbstruck, by the confrontation.

“He’s throwing punches like Floyd Mayweather Jr. He’s just pummeling the guy” said Freund, a partner at Lipsig, Shapey, Manus and Moverman law firm.

The drivers both took off before police arrived, witnesses said.
