Taking hiding in plain sight to a whole new level.

A Michigan man tried to evade cops responding to a reported domestic dispute by jumping out a second floor window and lying flat on the front porch roof.

“Apparently, the photo with the man lying on the roof has gone viral with people asking, ‘What is going on here?'” Grand Rapids Police Officer Terry Dixon said.

The man’s neighbor snapped a photo of the moment Edward Martin, 25, of Grand Rapids, stared into the camera as police stood on the porch below, apparently unaware of where their suspect went.

“They’ve been looking for him for 10 minutes,” a user named @RichDaKilla said in a post to Imgur that’s been seen nearly 3 million times.

Grand Rapids police said Martin slammed the door on responding officers to a Lafayette Ave. home Friday at 1 p.m.

A woman finally let cops in, who allege they saw signs of domestic assault.

Edward Martin, 25, of Grand Rapids, Mich., was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing police.

After searching the house for the suspect, an officer outside spotted Martin and radioed officers inside, police said.

Martin was ordered off the roof, where he was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstructing police.

Martin was taken to Kent County Jail and released the next day. He has an Aug. 10 court appearance.

As for the photo, there’s no hiding from it.
