A Kentucky woman who murdered her ex-boyfriend after he left her for Miss Ohio 2012 has been sentenced to 40 years in jail.

Shayna Hubers, 24, said she ‘cackled’ as she shot attorney Ryan Poston six times – including once in the face – just before he was due to meet Miss USA runner-up Audrey Bolte for a date.

Campbell County Circuit Judge Fred A. Stine sentenced Hubers to 40 years in prison after a day-long hearing saw testimony from her medical experts, friends and a lone pastor, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The testimony didn’t change Stine’s opinion of the former college student, who boasted about killing Ryan Poston to police inside an interrogation room shortly after his October 2012 death.

“I never heard a word or saw a look (from you) that said, ‘I’m sorry,’” Stine told Hubers at Friday’s hearing.

A jury found Hubers guilty in April of killing the 29-year-old attorney the night he was supposed to meet Audrey Bolte, Miss Ohio, woman for drinks.

He planned to break up with Hubers again and this time for good, Poston told his family shortly before his death.

She instead shot Poston six times at his Highland Heights apartment.

Psychologist Ed Connor and Campbell Commonwealth Attorney Michelle Snodgrass painted a grim characterization of Hubers during Friday’s hearing, the Enquirer detailed.

She has consistently shown signs of a narcissistic personality and “extreme difficulty with rejection,” Connor explained — and not just basing his analysis on her murderous actions.

“She is not the person that she wants everyone to believe she is,” Snodgrass told Stine.

Snodgrass detailed an array of text messages obtained from Hubers’ phone leading up to Poston’s death and alleged she had been cheating on him all along.

“I’m in love with Patrick,” she told a friend.

In another message, Hubers said she contracted a sexually transmitted infection.

“Who knows who I got it from, right?” Hubers wrote.
