A Texas woman is suing her ex-husband who posted her phone number on Craigslist and urged other men to come to her home and ‘take advantage of her’.

Bobby Wayne Moore of Colleyville, Texas, who is on probation for harassing his ex-wife by placing an online ad inviting strangers to have sex with her, is the defendant in a lawsuit she filed Wednesday.

His ex-wife, under the pseudonym Jane Doe, in the civil lawsuit asks for more than $1 million in damages for the suffering she says she endured as a result of harassment and stalking by Bobby Wayne Moore, 39, of Colleyville.

The lawsuit claims that on March 22, 2014, he created the ad on Craig’s List saying a woman wanted multiple strangers to come to her home and take sexual “advantage of her.” The ad included his wife’s cell phone number and a photograph of a purported likeness of his wife. The couple’s two young children lived with her at the time.

“The issues raised in this case are really important,” said the ex-wife’s attorney, Mark Allen of Grapevine, in an email Wednesday. “My client’s bravery and courage in bringing this lawsuit will hopefully serve to protect all women from this type of abuse.”

Colleyville police began their investigation in 2014 after Jane Doe reported her husband was stalking and harassing her. The couple had been married for several years, but she moved out after he became abusive, according to the lawsuit.

She said she received hundreds and hundreds of threatening texts and emails.

Moore was placed on probation for three years on a charge of online harassment in a plea agreement reached with prosecutors in January. The lawsuit does not mention any harassment or stalking acts this year.

In the lawsuit, Moore’s ex claimed that she has suffered from intense headaches, is unable to sleep at night and has been unable to enjoy food because of the abuse she went through in 2014. She must attend sessions with a psychotherapist to help her with her anxiety, nervousness and fear, according to the lawsuit.
