Police in Texas charged a juvenile jail counselor who engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old inmate.

According to Texas Rangers, Selena Marie Baxter was tasked with helping the 16-year-old juvenile delinquent, but instead, she entered into a raunchy sexual relationship with the troubled youth.

Valley Central reported that Baxter, who is twice his age met the boy at her job at the Lake Granbury Youth Services juvenile jail near Fort Worth in Oct. 2014, where he was an inmate.

At the time, the 29-year-old professional counselor worked for the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Following the boy’s June 2015 release, his mother discovered a series of naked photos of sexually explicit texts from Baxter, the police report states.

In one text, the lustful Baxter writes, “Baby I have never felt this much for anyone as I feel for you, I am so in love with you.”

The mother immediately contacted the Texas Rangers, who launched a six-month investigation into the complaint.

The teen told detectives that the pair went to a “Life In Color” concert together at the Rio Grande Valley, and rented a room at the Holiday Inn Express where they engaged in sexual activity but not intercourse.

Baxter now faces charges including violating the civil rights of a person in custody, and indecency with a child by sexual contact.
