Police are conducting a manhunt for two armed suspects in the border city of Mission, Texas after an attempted robbery of a drug stash house turned into a wild gun battle last month leaving two people dead.

Investigators said an armed rip-crew targeted the home that was storing 414 pounds of marijuana.

According to Breitbart Texas, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office released a copy of the surveillance video showing the moments leading up to the gunmen storming the house.

Juan Carmorlinga Torres, who was part of the stick-up crew, along with Rodrigo Villanueva Alvarez, who was living at the home at the time, were both killed in the gunbattle.

Investigators said 19-year-old Jose Ricardo Chavez, who also was living at the home with Villanueva, was arrested on drug charges.

Texas authorities have since identified two of the fugitives seen on the video as 37-year-old Alberto Garcia Ocanas and 50-year-old Ramon Aguilar. Both men are wanted for capital murder and are considered armed and dangerous.

The two additional armed suspects seen in surveillance footage have not yet been identified.

Instances where teams of gunmen have stormed suspected stash houses used by the Mexican cartels to store either drug shipments, illicit drug cash or human trafficking victims, referred to as “Home Invasions,” have become a regular occurrence in Texas border cities, which have led to an increase in incidents of gun violence.
