Police officials revealed that Tonya Couch, the mother of fugitive teen Ethan Couch withdrew $30,000 from a bank account and cut off ties with her husband before she went on the lam with her to Mexico.

The mother and son pair were apprehended at a seaside resort in Mexico last month after Texas authorities opened an investigation into whether he violated his probation, which he received after invoking an “affluenza” defense for a 2013 fatal drunk driving crash that killed four people.

Her arrest warrant released Friday details the huge cash withdrawal and the Dec.3rd phone call Tonya Couch made to her husband telling him he would never see them again.

Police charged Tonya Couch with hindering the apprehension of a felon and currently held in the Tarrant County jail on $1 million bail.

Ethan Couch remains in custody in Mexico after winning a stay of execution on his extradition back to Texas, where he faces possible prison time for the violation.
