Florida Police investigating ritualistic killing as possible motive in toddlers death

CALLAWAY, Fla. — Police are investigating whether the killing of a 3-year-old Florida boy by his mother was a ritualistic sacrifice.

After murdering her son, Egypt Moneeck Robinson, 27, stuffed the toddler in a suitcase and attempted to purchase a bus ticket out of town

According to Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen, Robinson faced a murder charges and said, that his department is investigating “ritualistic sacrifice” as a possible motive behind the boy’s death after his remains were found in a suitcase on Dec. 29 floating in 2-3 feet of water behind the house where they lived in near Panama City.

Robinson admitted to killing her son Aries Juan Acevado to police and made statements as she was taken to the hospital, that she was trying to save the child from the end of the world, The News Herald of Panama City reported.

Investigators said Robinson had tried to buy a bus ticket to Ohio at the time of her arrest. She is currently without bond.
