On Wednesday, Mexican actress Kate del Castillo finally broke her silence just days after it was revealed she arranged a meeting and entered into a friendship with notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman Loera, known as El Chapo.

Del Castillo is considered Mexico’s version of Sharon Stone, who has portrayed a female drug lord on a Spanish novella. The actress went on Twitter to thank her fans for the support she received and denied anything had happened between her and the Sinaloa, drug lord.

“Not surprisingly many have chosen to make up items they think will make good stories and that aren’t truthful, I look forward to sharing my story with you,” She wrote.

However, transcripts of the text message exchanges released on Wednesday shows how the Mexican starlet was the object of “El Chapo” Guzman’s lust and her response to Guzman are of a flirtatious nature right back.

Her denial that she cozied up to the drug lord sparked anger on social media by hundreds of people who were not believing her.

“You aren’t satisfied betraying the country, and you gave yourself the luxury of befriending El Chapo. You are a disgusting person,” Mexican Twitter user @Gezucristo_ wrote in Spanish.

Another Mexican with the handle @SeptumNoGrita tweeted that del Castillo was a “terrible traitor to the country,” adding: “I hope they lock you up with El Chapo.”

The 43-year-old “Queen of the South” star was responsible for arranging a 7-hour meeting between Guzman and actor Sean Penn back on October 2nd, which as part of an interview that had gotten published on Rolling Stone magazine days after the recapture of El Chapo by Mexican Marines last Friday.

On Wednesday, the Mexican publication Milienio released a transcript of text message exchanges between “El Chapo” and sexy starlet, it had obtained from a member an intelligence agent from within the Attoney General’s Office.

“I’ll have everything super so you don’t have any inconvenience, I would feel very sorry. Have faith that you will be comfortable. I will care for you better than I care for my own eyes,” Guzman reportedly texted del Castillo on Sept. 25, to what she replied: “It moves me so much that you tell me that you take care of me, no one has ever cared for me, thanks!”

The two struck friendship after she reportedly tweeted in 2012 that he should start “trafficking with love: and that she would trust “El Chapo” over the seemingly corrupt Mexican government.

“Mr. Chapo, wouldn’t it be cool that you started trafficking with love?” she wrote in the tweet. “With cures for diseases, with food for the homeless children, with alcohol for the retirement homes that don’t let the elderly spend the rest of the days doing whatever the f*** they want.”

She continued: “Imagine trafficking with corrupt politicians instead of women and children who end up as slaves. Why don’t you burn all those whorehouses where women are worth less than a pack of cigarettes? Without supply, there’s no demand. Come on, Don! You would be the hero of heroes. Let’s traffic with love. You know how to. Life is a business and the only thing that changes is the merchandise. Don’t you agree?”

El Chapo reportedly sent the actress flowers as a measure of thanks for her support.

The actress has since started working to secure a deal to work on a rags to riches biopic film about portraying Guzman’s life, including having meetings with his attorneys prior to his capture last week.

The Mexican Attorney General’s office are investigating the meetings, including the one with Sean Penn and Guzman to determine if any crimes were committed.

Penn told the Associated Press in an email this week he has “nothing to hide,” and will brak his silence in his first sit down interview with “CBS This Morning” Charlie Rosef since he met Guzman at his secret hideout in Durango.
