Mexican authorities are vowing there will be no escapo for El Chapo as the first photos officials released the first pictures of the drug lord back at the Altiplano maximum-security prison from which he broke out last July on Monday.

According to the Mexican newspaper El Universal, Joaquin “El Chapo,” Guzman is seen cuffed with his hands behind his back and his legs chained ins a cell according to the Mexican newspaper El Universal.

The elusive boss of the Sinaloa cartel is also be watched carefully by a K9 squad who are specially trained dogs to detect his scent and are codenamed “Smell Chapo.”

Prison officials are also rotating El Chapo among 30 cells as a preventative measure to thwart another escape. He has been moved seven times in the past five days alone.

Guards inside the prison are now equipped with helmet cameras, and more surveillance cameras have been added all around the facility.

Guzman escaped from Altiplano, which is Mexico’s most secured prison in July through an elaborate 1.5-mile tunnel, equipped with lighting, oxygen tanks and a motorcycle on rails he rode to freedom.

It would be Guzman’s second prison escape. Mexican Marines recaptured El Chapo back on Jan. 8 — thanks, in part to an interview he gave actor Sean Penn, arranged by actress Kate Del Castillo in October.

Guzman now faces extradition to the U.S. Where he faces indictments several cities in Texas, California, Illinois, Florida and New Hampshire, and in New York.

The indictment out of Brooklyn charges Guzman with 12 murders.
