The NYPD arrested a teenaged suspect in an armed robbery and his victim who ran down the teen with his vehicle, which led to the would-be robber’s arm getting ripped off.

The incident occurred on E. 86th St. near Avenue M in Canarsie, Brooklyn after the alleged suspect identified as 17-year-old Zachary Sam, had arranged to purchase a pair of Air Jordans sneakers from Phillippe Pierre on Friday.

However, detectives say when the 39-year-old Pierre arrived at in his SUV around 12:30 p.m. at the agreed upon location, Sam entered the vehicle, pulled a gun and demanded he turned over the pricey shoes.

As soon as the teen got out of the SUV, Pierre, pulled a U-turn and slammed the gas and ran down Sam with his vehicle, pinning the teen against a fence, shearing his arm right off his body.

Astonishingly, Sam still managed to flee with his sleeve dangling. The one-armed bandit got on a bus causing a panic among shocked passengers.

An off-duty bus driver and his son ran over, saw the Sam’s severed arm lying on the ground next to a gun and a shoebox.

“Everyone was yelling ‘Come back! Your arm! You’re going to bleed out!’ ” the witness told a local T.V. station.

Investigators said Sam ran home and collapsed. He was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Pierre now faces an attempted murder charged for hitting the now one-armed sneaker thief with his car, sources said.

Sam, has also been arrested on robbery and weapons charges.

Police are holding both men in custody, and it’s unknown if either had attorneys who could comment on their arrests.
