Ex-disgraced Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has learned a harsh reality of prison life. Inmates don’t like convicted pedophiles.

According to reports, Fogle received a brutal jail yard beat down at Colorado’s Englewood FCI, a minimum-security prison in Litton.

Fogle suffered a swollen face, lacerations to his neck and broken nose at the hands of fellow inmate Steven Nigg during the Jan. 29 attack.

The 60-year-old Nigg is currently serving time for a gun conviction tied to a decades-old Arizona crime spree. He walked away unscathed from the incident but was subsequently thrown into solitary confinement as punishment.

According to TMZ, Nigg reportedly tackled Fogle to the ground, then began repeatedly pouncing on his face in the recreation yard.

Fogle is serving a 15-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography and engaging in sexual intercourse with underage prostitutes. However, he could be eligible for parole in five years.

Prison records show Nigg scheduled release from federal custody is slated for 2024. For many, he should earn time off his sentence because for the beat down.
