Reality star Chumlee, from the History Channel’s hit T.V show of “Pawn Stars”, looks like he could be dodging jail time after his arrest on drugs and weapon possession charges.

According to TMZ, attorneys for Chumlee, whose real name is Austin Russell, agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors that would avoid him from having to serve time behind bars after his arrest in March on felony charges including possession of a firearm and a controlled substance.

Documents obtained by the gossip site reported that Russell is expected to plead guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges during his upcoming May 23rd court date and will receive probation.

The 33-year-old’s character, which has been featured on the Reality T.V. Show for the past twelve seasons, is best known for his work behind the counter at the famed Gold and Silver Pawn shop in Las Vegas.

Although a judge has yet to sign off on the deal, Russell hinted to a fan on Twitter that he’ll soon be back on the show, “Off right now but we will be back filming soon.”

Nevada authorities arrested Chumlee back on March 9th at his home in Las Vegas and charged him with 19 drug possession charges and one gun charge.

Officers discovered found several drug-related items during a subsequent search of his home, including marijuana, methamphetamines, and a firearm.

Cops had initially conducted a search of Chumlee’s residence executing a warrant stemming from a sexual assault investigation.

So far police have not filed charges for the alleged sex crime due to lack of sufficient evidence against him, TMZ reported.
