Police say an Ohio rapper involved in a fatal wrong-way crash killing himself and a couple in another car had a blood alcohol content of more than 2 ½ times the legal limit.

According to The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, rapper Kalyko, whose real name is Kory Wilson, died back in April after crashing his SUV head-on into the vehicle of Nazih Shteiwi, 61, and Halla Odeh Shteiwi, 55, his wife, on Interstate 75 north of Cincinnati.

Evendale police Sgt. Doug Abrams said the toxicology results indicated that the 30-year-old Wilson had a blood alcohol content of .209, which is 2 ½ times higher than the state’s legal limit of .08, Cincinnati.com reported.

Abrams added that the Coroner’s Officer detected no other drugs in Wilson’s system.

Police said shortly before the fatal crash that Wilson was with Cincinnati Bengals football player Dre Kirkpatrick, who knew he was drinking, but didn’t stop him from driving.

A fact that Kirkpatrick acknowledged in a Twitter post.

“I just want y’all to know that was my friend that got killed last night,” he tweeted following the tragic accident. I was with him and I knew he was drinking and didn’t stop him,” according to WCPO.

Another motorist in a third car was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
