A 19-year-old with alleged gang affiliations has been arrested for his role in the deadly shooting that occurred on early Saturday morning at a dance studio in Fort Worth, Texas.

Two people lost their lives, and several others were injured after a heated argument broke out at Studio 74, a non-profit dance studio last week, NBC5 reported.

investigators said as the argument escalated, shots were fired as a person tried to run outside, where several people began exchanging gunfire striking multiple victims.

Police arrested and charged Tommy Lee Ward for the murders of 18-year-old Jordan Larkin and 22-year-old Treavon Lewis.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Studio 74 said that it had no involvement with the incident.

The post read: “To all studio family, fans and supporters, first I would like to think [thank] all of you for the calls, concerns, and prayers that have been sent my way. I’m writing to respond to your concerns in regards to the incident that occurred in the parking lot of studio 74. We as dance family had no involvement with the incident that occurred last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Please continue to pray for them.”
