Suspect wraps his face in toilet paper, robs Nashville gas station

Nashville Police conducted a search overnight for an armed suspect who wrapped his face in toilet paper and robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

Metro Police officials said the suspect brandished a black revolver and threatened the clerk at Twice Daily on Dickerson Pike around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

According to NewsChannel 5 in Nashville, the gas station attendant told police the armed robber went to the bathroom and grabbed paper towels to conceal his face during the robbery.

The suspect demanded the clerk hand over the money from the register before he fled the scene in either white or silver Ford Focus.

Police said investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from the store and described the suspect as a male in his early 20s, around 5-feet 8-inches tall and was wearing a dark hoodie with blue jeans and toilet paper over his face.
