Law enforcement officials have released surveillance footage that depicts the minutes before an execution-style shooting that occurred in an alleyway two years ago in hopes of tracking down the suspects responsible for the heinous crime.

The clip displays two Asian men approaching a victim from behind his back, holding a gun to his neck. The footage then stops just before the victim was repeatedly shot.

San Jose police are still on the hunt for the two murderers who shot 41-year-old Thach Duong, in San Jose, California back in December of 2014.

Duong died at the scene of the crime, and his killers have not yet been identified.

The department’s Homicide Unit said in a press release on Tuesday that, “The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time.”

According to a local CBS affiliate, officials have also released details about three additional unsolved homicides with the hopes of forming new leads in the cases.

There is currently no information linking the unsolved incidents together, however, police have conceded that there are some similarities between them.

The most recent murder occurred in June and left Justin Tran, 26, dead.

Tran was discovered at the scene with a fatal gunshot wound and died before emergency responders could transport him to the hospital.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects were driving a black Lexus, in which one of the passengers approached the driver’s side of Tran’s vehicle and fired at him multiple times.

Another deadly shooting occurred back in March, where officers found two men at the scene, who were both suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Both men were raced to the hospital, where 43-year-old Brian Le died, but the other victim managed to survive.

The murderer allegedly entered a café where the two men were sitting and shot them numerous times before escaping. Police released security footage that shows the suspect, who has been described at 5’10” 165 lbs., and sporting a hat, sweatshirt, and sweatpants, entering the café with a handgun.

Conversely, police are still investigating an unsolved murder that occurred back in 2013. The Daily Mail reported that 37-year-old Viet Tran was discovered bleeding in the street after he was shot, and died just moments later. It is unclear, however, if this victim shares any relationship with Justin Tran.
