Police say three teenagers were shot on Saturday night at a party near Arizona State University in a dispute over beer money.

One female and two males, who ranged in ages between 16 and 19, were shot at the party located mere blocks from Arizona State University a little after midnight, AZ Central reported.

Police said one of the victims was hit in the chest, the other near his buttocks, and the female was shot in the leg.

Following the gunfire, one of the male victims barricaded himself inside the house along with 25 party attendees who refused to comply with police instructions, prompting officers to use flash-bang grenades to get them out.

A witness reported a person began firing shots outside of the house party, where the hosts were trying to collect money from the guests to buy beer. Police could not verify the cause as the incident is still under investigation.

Paramedics transported all three victims to nearby hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Police made no arrests and are actively searching for the suspected gunman.

Police officials did confirm the arrest of 63-year-old Yolanda Jaime on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with the house party.
