A three-hour surge in gun violence erupted in across the New York City area which resulted in the shooting of seven people, one of which was fatal.

The gun violence occurred in the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Harlem section of Manhattan.

A 27-year-old man was killed after he was shot in the torso and face in Brooklyn just before one a.m., according to police.

The victim, a Queens native whose name has not yet been revealed pending family notification, was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A white vehicle was seen leaving the scene, police reported. The motive for the murder is currently unknown.

According to the New York Post, the incident was the second incident of gun violence that occurred in the area in less than two hours. A 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen during a drive-by, which left a minimum of six people wounded over the weekend.

One victim told law enforcement officials he was hanging out there when a man inside a black sedan pulled up and began shooting, police stated.

Cops speculate that attack may be gang-related, although police noted that the victim did not appear to be a gang member.

The neighborhood is a widely-known hangout for the HQ Monopoly gang. One of its members, who was murdered the day before, 21-year-old Anthony Francis, lived across the street from where the incident occurred.

In Queens, five people were hit with bullets in two distinct — but potentially related – conflicts that took place less than two miles apart.

One woman and three men, all of whom were in their 20s, were shot when a suspect in a gray sedan pulled up to a party and opened fire on the crowd at about 2:05 a.m.

The men were all hit in their right legs, and the woman was hit in her left foot. They were transported to Jamaica Hospital and are in stable condition.

Just over a mile away at approximately 3:30 am, witnesses also informed investigators that they saw a gray sedan leave the scene after a 22-year-old man was shot in the left arm and side.

He was also brought to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Brooklyn saw yet another drive-by shooting only hours earlier.

Just hours earlier, police indicate that a 20-year-old man was shot in the arm in Brooklyn by a suspect in a black sedan when he stepped out of a deli on Fort Hamilton Parkway at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The victim had been fighting with a man inside the deli just before the incident.

There have been no arrests in any of the shootings.
