Police release interrogation video of disturbing mutilation death of Miami woman.

Authorities have released shocking new evidence including interrogation video revealing details of the horrific murder and mutilation of a Florida woman committed by her boyfriend after she called out her ex-husband’s name during sex.

Police arrested 25-year-old Fidel Lopez, with first-degree murder in the brutal and disturbing death of 31-year-old Maria Nemeth last September.

Lopez pled not guilty and is currently being held without bail as he awaits trial.

Some evidence prosecutors plan to present at trial has been obtained by NBC Miami, which includes video taken by investigators of the crime scene that shows the disturbing nature of the murder that occurred in the Miami home the couple shared.

Fidel Lopez (left), 24, has admitted to police that he killed 31-year-old Maria Nemeth (right) and mutilated her body while she was passed out from drinking tequila

The footage shows a scene out of a horror film with blood and tissue scrawled on walls, in the bathroom, closet, and on a closet door that had been knocked down inside the apartment where the couple lived together for just a week.

Police said the crime scene suggested a physical struggle and possible foul play, which investigators say was the result of his uncontrollable anger, the Daily Mail reported.

In an audio of the frantic call to 911, Lopez told the operator his girlfriend had stopped breathing.

“She’s not breathing. She’s not breathing. She’s going to die; She’s not breathing. Send the ambulance,” Lopez said during the 911 call.

Lopez can be heard telling a detective in the interrogation video he no recollection of the events of the evening.

“I just remember seeing glass on the floor, I really don’t remember when I break it, or why I break it, To be honest with you, I don’t don’t remember,” Lopez told investigators in the video.

He continued, “Any damage in the house, I did it, I know it wasn’t her, I take responsibility for whatever holes and everything else broken there, I did it, I know I did it, she’d never do that.”

However, when a detective asked why Lopez damaged the home, he answered, “That’s the problem, I don’t know why we were drinking, I don’t know why.”

New evidence released Wednesday shows the blood-stained walls of a closet where Lopez allegedly killed Nemeth

Another detective asked: “Did she want to do anything to you, sexually, that was crazy, that maybe made you angry?”

“Maybe she want to do something but no, I don’t think so man, she knows I’m a man,” Lopez said.

Ultimately, Lopez told police he was drinking tequila, and investigators did find a bottle of the liquor in the apartment.

During the interrogation, the suspect described to investigators the couple ended up on the floor of the closet having sex during which an inebriated Nemeth twice called out her ex-husband’s name.

Lopez eventually admitted that he became a ‘monster’ when Nemeth twice said her ex-husband’s name during sex after intense interrogation

Lopez launched into a tirade and started smashing things inside the apartment including a sliding glass door.

After his fit of rage, Lopez returned to where Nemith laid unconscious and proceeded to start inserting objects including a curling iron and beer bottle inside the woman’s anus and vagina.

At one point, Lopez said he had both arms up to his elbows and admitted he pulled out internal tissue from Nemith’s body while she was unconscious.

Lopez is due back in court in November.
