Sickening new details have emerged in the gruesome death of Victoria Martens, the 10-year-old New Mexico, who was raped, injected with meth and murdered before her body was found dismembered last month.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, Michelle Martens, the girl’s mother confessed to police she solicited men on the internet and at work to sexually assault her child because she liked to watch.

Michelle Martens told investigators the disturbing details including the revelation that she planned meetings with at least three different people with the purpose of sexually molesting her daughter, Victoria Martens.

The 35-year-old Martens admitted to police one of the men was a co-worker, and the other two she had met online — including 31-year-old Fabian Gonzales, who was the last.

Martens, Gonzales, and Jessica Kelley — Gonzales’ cousin — are currently facing charges in the death of the 10-year-old girl.

Police officers discovered Victoria Marten’s dismembered body in August inside of the New Mexico apartment where she lived with her mother on the girl’s 10th birthday.

According to police, the young girl’s remains were discovered wrapped inside of a burning blanket.

Officers arrived at the Arroyo Villas Apartment Complex and walked in on a gruesome crime scene in the bathroom, according to Gorden Eden, Albuquerque Police Chief.

“This is a horrific tragedy for our community,” the police chief said. “I want to assure the public that we will pursue justice, and we will make sure that we exhaust every resource into this investigation.”

Law enforcement officials announced Victoria Martens was injected with meth, raped, suffocated and stabbed before her body was dismembered.

According to arrest warrants, the heartless mother informed investigators she seek out men for the cash. The woman said she set up the encounters simply because she had fun watching.

Investigators solicited DNA evidence from the suspects, as well as multiple electronic devices and a camera that they believe may have been used for the sexual exploitation of minors.

The mom told cops that she used the dating site ‘Plenty of Fish’ to look for potential suitors to rape her daughter.

It is not clear how long she had been setting up these meetings before the young girl was murdered.

Tanner Tixier, a spokesperson for Albuquerque Police Department, stated investigators are collaborating with the feds to decide whether the mother will face federal charges for the online activity.

The criminal complaint indicated that Michelle admitted to police that Gonzales drugged her daughter so she would calm down and have sex with her.

She also stated that Kelley held her hand over Victora’s mouth, while she slashed her in the stomach after Gonzales had strangled her.

The charge also states that the mother, who also has a younger son, told police that Kelley and Gonzales dismembered the girl.

Some of her body parts were located in a plastic bag in a hamper.

In a statement, the Albuquerque school district said that school administrators were having a difficult time wrapping their heads around the revolting case.

People who knew the child said she was friendly and well-liked.

Christine Zamora, who taught Victoria Martens gymnastics, stated that the young girl always came to class happy.

John Madrid, a neighbor, says he frequently saw Victora at the pool and that she was excited to begin a new school year.

Gonzales has a previous record stemming back to 2004, which include resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated, along with a felony child abuse charge.

It was not currently clear if he was convicted of these offenses, but court documents reveal that he pleaded no contest to a child abandonment charge.

Kelley’s record includes domestic violence, battery, and drug charges — most of which were dropped. Court records show no past criminal offenses in the state for the child’s mom.

Laura Bobbs, a close family friend, and a local minister, told the Albuquerque Journal that she was preparing the birthday celebration for Victoria Martens when the child was supposed to come home from school.

They were planning to get manicures and pedicures and have birthday cake.

Bobbs broke down in tears and began shouting on Wednesday outside the apartment as detectives investigated.

She screamed: “Who does this to a little child? Oh, Jesus. Oh what evil.”

Dozens assembled outside the apartment complex for a candlelight vigil on August 25th.

The complex, where the child was living, opened up the property to grievers who wished to pay their respects.

Family, friends and neighbors placed copious candles, balloons, toys, stuffed animals, and flowers outside of the complex.

A public funeral service for the child is scheduled for on October 29th at 11 am at the Copper Pointe Church.

Bobbs told reporters: “It’s going to be a public celebration for those who want to come and pay their respects… There are going to be hymns that Victoria liked and a slideshow with music in the background.”
