The suspected mastermind, who was responsible for the murder of an abducted Brooklyn landlord, was apprehended after charging into a police precinct looking for his brother — who was just arrested as an accomplice to the crime, police sources revealed on Friday.

Erskin Felix showed up to the 90th Precinct in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Thursday trying to find his 28-year-old sibling, Kendall Felix, who was busted by officers in lower Manhattan earlier that day after receiving a tip.

After interviewing 38-year-old Erskin, authorities charged him with the 2014 kidnapping and slaying of Menachem Stark — who left behind his wife and seven children.

“I just feel better knowing the mastermind is behind bars,” the victim’s brother, Joel Stark, stated. “The loss of my brother is like yesterday. It’s very hard. But he got arrested, and it makes me feel much better.”

The younger sibling has been charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence for reportedly lighting Stark’s body on fire and disposing of the victim’s remains in a dumpster in Great Neck, Long Island.

Kendall Felix’s bail has been set at $250,000, and he was required to turn over his passport.

The New York Daily News reported that the 39-year-old victim was abducted outside of his office in Williamsburg during a robbery-gone-wrong in the midst of a snowstorm. His body was located a few days later.

The arrests occurred one month after the pair’s cousin, Kendel Felix, was found guilty of murdering the abducted Brooklyn landlord.

In a videotaped admission, Kendel Felix, who was a carpenter who once worked for the victim, said Erskin Felix plotted the scheme.

He said that his cousin wanted to kidnap and rob Stark because “he has a lot of money and we can get a lot of money,” However, Kendall claimed that they didn’t plan on killing the man.

“I’m scared s—less because this wasn’t supposed to happen,” Felix told Kenneth Taub, the chief of Brooklyn district attorney’s homicide bureau, court documents indicated.

The Felix family reportedly pulled Stark into a minivan after an intense dispute on the street.

It was later determined that Stark died of asphyxiation after one of the suspects allegedly sat on his chest.

Kendel Felix is scheduled for sentencing on November 2nd in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
