NBA TV host Kristen Ledlow announced that she was robbed at gunpoint at her residence this past weekend and will be on a social media hiatus following the incident.

The 28-year-old NBA Inside Stuff host revealed on Instagram and Twitter on Sunday that she was held up at gunpoint on Saturday “by three men who knew who I was, where I lived and were waiting for me when I got home.”

She says in addition to stealing her phone, purse, and car, the thieves also robbed her of her “sense of security.”

The sportscaster declared that she plans on taking a break from social media as a result of the incident, but also indicated that she “will not become a slave to fear.”

Ledlow did not reveal where the armed robbery occurred. Online reports suggest that the 28-year-old resides in Piedmont Heights, Atlanta where NBA TV is based.

On Monday, the Atlanta Police Department confirmed that Ledlow was robbed and carjacked by armed men just before 3:30 pm on Saturday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Daily Mail reported.

Kristen Ledlow told authorities that a group of African American men came out of a newer model silver sedan and approached her as she pulled up to her apartment building.

Authorities indicated that one of the suspects pointed a firearm at Ledlow and got inside her 2016 red Chevrolet Corvette.

After the woman had reported the theft, police officers used the car’s tracking device to find the Corvette, which was abandoned in southwest Atlanta approximately 25 minutes after the incident.

As of Monday, no arrests have been made.
