Authorities believe that additional players will likely come forward.

Law enforcement officials allege that he has been deceiving people for years, getting work under false identities. U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement even placed an immigration hold on the man, according to Fox4 Dallas.

Police reported that Ramos fled Central America and illegally entered the United States, first residing in Houston, where he started coaching a boys’ soccer team.

Houston issued an arrest warrant for charges of aggravated sexual assault of eight of his players. However, he’s facing additional charges in Corsicana, where he was recreational soccer coach over the past four years.

A woman who lived next to Ramos, who has a 15-year-old son, told Fox4 that she brought Ramos shopping last Christmas to help him buy gifts for his players.

“It breaks my heart because that could have been my kid,” she stated.

Corsicana police have not made public what aliases Ramos has used in the past.

It is also reported that the group of players who accused the coach are now approximately two years older than at the time of the abuse. One of the older children came forward and convinced the other boys to speak to authorities about Ramos.
