Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have officially sold their home in the French Quarter of New Orleans following their dramatic split in September.

Documents registered with the Land Records Division of the Orleans Parish Clerk of Court’s Office indicate that the property sold for $4.9 million.

The couple purchased the residence back in 2007 for $3.5 million in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, which Brad Pitt founded the “Make It Right Foundation” to help accelerate the development of new housing in the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood of New Orleans.

According to the listing, the residence is a 7,645 square feet, three story 1830s-era mansion with five bedrooms, three baths, and two half-baths.

The estate sold for a very fair price according to the listing agent

Nina Killeen, the listing agent for the property, verified that the sale closed on Friday. She stated, “It sold for a very fair price. It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome.”

UsWeekly.com reported that the two A-List celebs agreed to also sell their country estate and vineyard near the Provence village of Correns in the South of France as they proceed with their divorce.

The now estranged couple purchased the 1,200-acre estate for approximately $60 million in 2012.

Its winery and vineyard also produces a highly-regarded rosé.

“It currently says Jolie-Pitt on the Château Miraval bottles, and the next season’s batch will have a newly reprinted label with no names written on it,” sources said according to USWeekly.

The publication also reports Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will likely strip themselves of all jointly-owned property as part of their settlement.

The former Hollywood power couple and their attorneys are working behind closed doors to come up with a financial settlement and an agreement regarding the custody of their six children – Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

The 52-year-old Pitt reportedly missed a deadline this week to file a response to Angelina’s divorce petition, TMZ reported.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split in September amid concerns about his treatment of Maddox, pictured here in 2013, according to reports.

The actor was due to file a response last week, but allegedly does not plan to answer the request to avoid a bitter legal dispute with the 41-year-old actress, something he believes “would cause considerable psychological damage to their kids.”

The two split amid concerns of Pitt’s treatment of Maddox following an altercation on a private plane.

As JammedUp reported, FBI agents seeking to uncover the truth questioned Jolie and the children for four hours last week about the incident.

Jolie reportedly fully cooperated during the FBI inquiry.

Sources told U.S. Weekly, Pitt has sought to prove he is a model father, by submitting to voluntary drug tests and interviews in a separate investigation with the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services, which both ended with negative results.
