Mariah Carey allegedly has a strict rule against premarital sex and was waiting to sleep with ex-fiancee James Packer until marriage before their relationship imploded earlier this week.

Sources close to the singer slammed rumors that her ex-fiance dumped her because she was hooking up with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka by stating that she never sleeps with men before marriage, TMZ reported.

Despite sharing a home together, the singer and the Australian mogul slept in separate rooms because Carey is a “traditional girl.”

Mariah Carey also implemented the rule with her ex-husband and father to her twins, Nick Cannon, who waited until the night of their Bahamas honeymoon to consummate their marriage.

Carey’s year-and-a-half relationship with Packer ended earlier this week after the two fought in September while on board the billionaire’s yacht in Greece.

The 49-year-old business tycoon allegedly ended his relationship with Carey because of her “extravagant spending” habits and because of rumors she was fooling around with Tanaka.

The multi-platinum singer refuted the cheating accusations while also demanding that her ex should pay her $50 million, insisting that their dramatic break-up tarnished her career.

Carey says she made career-costing sacrifices for her man, including that fact that she moved from New York to Los Angeles so he could be closer to his children.

The performer also claimed that she was forced to cancel the South American portion of her world tour because she was so traumatized by their quarrel on the luxury liner that led to their split.

The $50 million request comes after rumors surfaced that Packer allowed Carey to keep the $10 million engagement ring that was given to her for their engagement back in January.

Carey was seen at Malibu’s posh sushi haven Nobu on Thursday night with a skin-baring outfit and the enormous diamond ring still on her finger. She was with her rumored fling, Tanaka.

Carey’s upcoming E! reality show, “Mariah’s World,” is scheduled to air on December 4th and her split with the business magnate allegedly sent executives into a tailspin this week, The New York Daily News reported.

The primary focus of the show is Carey’s career, but a subplot chronicle’s the former couple’s wedding planning.
