Former NFL star Greg Hardy faces serious prison time after a Texas grand jury returned an indictment on Monday for felony drug charges stemming from his arrest on cocaine possession.

Police arrested Hardy back on Sept. 25th during a traffic stop.

The former Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys defensive end was pulled over in his 2010 Dodge Challenger for failing to use a signaling light.

During the traffic stop, cops discovered a baggie containing less than a gram of cocaine inside Hardy’s Louis Vuitton wallet.

The grand jury indicted Greg Hardy on one count of felony possession of a controlled substance and could face up to 2 years in prison if convicted, TMZ reported.

Hardy is pursuing an MMA career; he was last released by the Cowboys. His off-field issues ended his once promising NFL career after no other NFL teams showed any interest in signing the former All-Pro pass rusher.
