Four immigrants illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border as a local news camera recorded the event.

An ABC13 camera crew taped the border crossing as two of the four men are seen rolling on the ground in the footage and then standing on their feet to escape.

The report indicates that the four men “crossed the Rio Grande and were rolling their way into the United States to avoid detection by the Border Patrol, which was set up just two hundred yards away.”

President-elect Trump made a visit over one year ago to Laredo, Texas, where he promised to build a border wall to prevent crossings like this one from happening in the area.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) said in a statement to ABC13 that they opposed Trump’s proposal to strengthen border security and deport criminal illegals immigrants.

“He proposed a border wall,” one member stated. “The fact of the matter is that there is a border wall already from California to New Mexico.”

The wall that runs along the U.S.-Mexico border does not block illegal crossings like the one seen by ABC13 in Texas.

Additionally, Breitbart Texas reported a 37% increase in Family Unit Aliens (FMUA) apprehensions in the month of October. During the same time frame, there was also a 19% rise in Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) apprehensions.
