Former NFL star and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez is scheduled to appear in a Bostin court for the fatal drive-by shooting deaths of two men back 2012.

Hernandez and his lawyers will appear in Suffolk Superior Court for a status conference in his upcoming trial for the 2012 fatal drive-by murders.

The former New England Patriot stands accused of gunning down Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado during a drive-by shooting after a confrontation at a nightclub in Downtown Boston.

Moreover, prosecutors charged Hernandez with an additional count of witness intimidation in connection with shooting a witness in the face, WCVB reported.

Aaron Hernandez is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole after a jury returned a guilty verdict in the 2013 murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.

Jury selection is expected to start in Feb. 13th for the upcoming double murder trial.

Hernandez grew up in Bristol, Connecticut.
