A mother and her partner purportedly plotted the rape and killing of her adopted daughter, 14-year-old Grace Packer for more than year.

Jacob Sullivan was charged on Sunday with the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Grace Packer. Sara Packer was charged with homicide and “related offenses” a few hours later.

Sullivan confessed that both of them were responsible for her murder while he was in the hospital last week after he attempted suicide.

Grace was raped by Sullivan while her mom watched for sexual enjoyment, Philly.com reported.

The teen was then murdered, and four months later, her remains were brought down from an attic and dismembered.

Sara Packer (left in her latest mugshot) and Jacob Sullivan (right) reportedly planned to rape and kill Packer’s adopted daughter as part of a gruesome sexual fantasy

The District Attorney for Bucks County, Matthew D. Weintraub, stated: “This was a sexual fantasy between Jacob Sullivan and Sara Packer, and Grace Packer was the object of that rape-murder fantasy.”

Grace was brought from her home in Abington, Pennsylvania the morning of July 8th by the pair to their rented house in Quakertown.

She was then raped by the male suspect while her mother watched. Afterward, the teen was pumped with pills and was left suffocate in the attic on a scorching hot day.

Sullivan went back to the attic the next day and found the victim still breathing. He proceeded to strangle her and left her body concealed in cat food.

Grace Packer’s dismembered remains were discovered by hunters off a road in Luzerne County on Halloween

When Packer and Sullivan went back up to the attic in mid-October, they cut up Grace’s body with a bow saw.

Investigators would later discover the receipts for the saw and blades in Packer’s possession.

The couple then scattered Grace’s body parts on a road in Luzerne County. The body was found by two hunters on Halloween.

Grace’s body was ultimately identified through dental records.

Packer purportedly made money off her daughter’s killing. She lied and said that Grace was still alive so she could receive her social security checks.

She received $712 every month for her care in custody, never revealing that Grace was not at the home, nor was she alive.

Packer was led out of a court in Newtown, Pennsylvania, on Sunday and taken into custody

Packer told authorities that Grace ran away after a fight about visiting a friend and took $300 from her.

When officers asked for a picture of Grace to help find her, Packer said she would send it to the station but never did so.

Grace was reported missing three days after the killing and continued collecting Grace’s checks.

According to WPVI-TV, reports indicate that Packer received $3,600 of Grace’s disability funding starting when she was murdered.

Weintraub stated: “After they had murdered her, they maintained the pretense of Grace being alive so they could continue to profit…”

The attorney also suggested that there might have been other accomplices.

The woman was charged with obstruction of justice, and in December, became a person of interest in the murder. The police report states that she “withheld critical information” and provided “misleading statements.”

Authorities were also tipped off by Katherine Allbright, who was living with the suspects at the time of the killing.
