Victoria Martens, the ten-year-old New Mexico girl who was raped, brutally killed, and dismembered by her mother’s boyfriend, had an STD at the time of her murder, the autopsy results have revealed.

Martens was killed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on August 23rd, 2016. Only one day after she turned 10-years-old.

Michelle Martens, 35, her mother, confessed that she liked watching her daughter being raped and then watched Victoria’s murder by her boyfriend, 32-year-old Fabian Gonzales, and his cousin, Jessica Kelley.

Following the killing, Martens had sex with Gonzales 20 minutes later.

Forensic records indicate that the child had been raped, choked, stabbed, and dismembered.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, an autopsy report confirmed that Victoria had human papillomavirus (HPV), implying that she had suffered sexual abuse in the months before she was brutally murdered.

Michelle Martens initially claimed she didn’t see the killing, but eventually told cops that she watched her daughter be raped because she enjoyed it, police transcripts claim

Michelle Martens has allegedly told detectives she had volunteered her daughter online to pedophiles who wished to rape her.

The autopsy also showed that Victoria Martens did not have meth in her system, opposing her mother’s statement that she died from an overdose of meth, which was given to her to help her relax.

However, the 10-year-old did have alcohol in her system.

Martens initially argued that she and Gonzales had been attacked by Kelley, a rapist, in the middle of the night, and she did not know what happened to her daughter.

“Jessica comes into our bedroom and asks if I believe in God. She kept hitting me… punching,” Martens claimed.

As she left the home, Martens claimed that Kelley shouted: “Your daughter’s dead!”

Victoria Martens, seen above in Facebook photos, was killed at around 5 pm on August 23, the day after her 10th birthday

During the sequence of police interviews, her story altered: She then told police that she and Gonzales had left the child alone with Kelley, and the girl had died after ingesting some meth she found.

Martens said Gonzales and Kelley got rid of Victoria’s body – which was discovered dismembered and wrapped in a burning blanket. She also claimed that the two threatened to kill her if she went to authorities.

Police, doubting her account, deceived her into believing that Gonzales was telling them the truth in another room.

Eventually, she confessed the truth. She said she had watched Gonzales and Kelley rape and kill her daughter, even though the child was begging for mercy.

She also admitted that she had watched the two abuse Victoria Martens at least three other times in the days before she was murdered, and she believes that Gonzales was also abusing her for a month while she went to work.

Martens also told officers that she liked watching her daughter be violated, and she let two others have sex with her in the six months before her death.

Martens confessed to using the dating website Plenty of Fish to look for men to have sex with her daughter.

Authorities found Victoria’s remains in August, wrapped in a burning blanket in the apartment bathtub that was owned by Martens.

Fabian Gonzales (left) and his cousin Jessica Kelley (right) were guilty of the attack, Martens claimed – but the mom admitted she did nothing to help her begging daughter

Additional remains were discovered in a plastic bag in a hamper.

Detectives also seized DNA evidence from the suspects, and multiple electronic devices and a tape recorder that they believed might have been used for the sexual exploitation.

Martens is facing charges of child abuse resulting in death and kidnapping; Gonzales faces the same charges in addition to child rape.

Kelley, who was staying with her cousin and Martens after getting out of jail, has been charged with abduction, child rape, and child abuse resulting in death.

She had tried to leave the apartment in Albuquerque when officers went to arrest her and leaped off the balcony hurting her foot.

Jason Oetting, whose son was the victim’s half-brother, said through his lawyer: “She’s never been a monster, she got mixed up with the worst people and that, contributed to a downward spiral from what we can tell.”

The trial is expected to be scheduled for sometime in October. All three suspects remain in custody on $1 million cash bonds.
